French snowshoes on NZ slopes & trails!

Bonjour.  We’re Janelle and Pierre Champagnat –  a cool french-kiwi couple living in Wanaka (yep close to the snow!) and NZ distributors for  TSL Outdoor (France) Snowshoes. Vive la France!

TSL Outdoor are the world leaders in snowshoes. In fact they make over 3000 pairs per day – totally designed, researched and produced in Annecy – close to the French Alps. Think Chamonix and you’re close! In fact, the same small town that produces legendary ski gear like Rossignol and Salomon and actually Pierre’s hometown where he spent many happy days in the mountains.

The last few years haven’t been easy for most of us. But what was apparent, was the people craved being outdoors and snowshoeing was a great answer! No queues and outdoor lovers found their own snow, or headed to the slopes! ++++ The plus-es?

Social – yes fun to do with your besties, or even your dog, baby in a front pack, or husband by your side!

Whether you want to stroll along flatter terrains or up your local terrain as a beginner, or scale glaciers with more technical snowshoes, TSL has a variety of models and colours to choose from, and ones that are suitable for all ages, weight and terrain you want to be on.

We live off-grid and live and work in Wanaka.  You won’t see our gear in the shops, but you will see us  (and our TSL fans / groups / walkers / mountain-folk) out there – on or off the piste or trail.
